This had a large island with bar seats to use for casual dining. It also had the added purpose of ‘dividing’ the kitchen from the seating area. A large table and chairs provided a more formal, seated dining area. The ceiling of the rear extension was fitted with large rectangular glass panels to allow light. The back wall has sliding floor to ceiling glass doors, which can be left open onto a seated porch area.
The entrance at the front of the house consisted of double storey glass panelling to allow light to flood the hallway. This was assisted by side double story glass panelling. Landscaping added a colourful and softening touch to the front exterior, while there is also grass to the side of the property where the extension sits.
The eco credentials of this property are in the form of solar panels and an air sourced heat pump to provide centralised heating.
