SALTBURN
Hillingdon House
At our architectural design firm, we pride ourselves on transforming spaces into homes that reflect modern lifestyles while respecting their historical context. This project in Saltburn exemplifies this philosophy, as we seamlessly blended contemporary design with the Victorian charm of a 5-bedroom detached residence.

Cartmel Road
The owners of 11 Cartmel Road were looking for more light and space in their home. So, we achieved this by building a large, single storey gable end extension to their property – the entire end side of which comprised solely of glass in a black painted steel frame. The extension itself was comprised of brick, a cavity wall and supporting steelwork for the roof.
Our clients sought to enhance their Victorian property, yearning for more space and modern amenities while preserving its historical character. The task was to extend the rear of the house to create an open-plan kitchen, dining, and family area that would harmonise with the existing structure and meet the demands of contemporary living.
Drawing from our expertise in architectural design and conservation, we crafted a vision that seamlessly integrated modern elements with the traditional Victorian aesthetic. The extension boasts bifold doors, a roof lantern, and a double-sided fireplace, inviting natural light and creating a fluid connection between indoors and outdoors.
The transformation exceeded expectations, elevating the property’s estimated value from £594k to £850k. The meticulously designed open-plan kitchen, dining, and family area serve as the heart of the home, exuding warmth and sophistication.
Karndean flooring welcomes visitors into a light-filled hall, while two reception rooms with open fires offer cozy retreats. Upstairs, five bedrooms provide ample space for family living, including options for a home office and guest accommodation.
